From photo to song in seconds

PixChord's ChordEngine reads your image like a musician reads sheet music — analyzing mood, scene, and context to compose a song that's uniquely yours.

Step 01

Upload any photo

Take a new photo with your camera or choose one from your camera roll. Any image works — PixChord is designed to find music in everything. A sunset, a city street, your dog, a plate of food. The more interesting the image, the more interesting the song.

Step 02

ChordEngine reads the scene

This is where the magic happens. Google Gemini Flash analyzes your photo across 13 musical parameters — not just "is this happy or sad," but granular details like tempo, key, instrumentation, genre, cultural context, geographic setting, and emotional register. It writes a detailed production brief that captures what your image sounds like.

Step 03

Your song is composed

Google Lyria 3 Pro receives both the text production brief and your original image, then composes a full original track. Not a preset. Not a remix. A song made specifically for your photo. Your image automatically becomes the album cover art. Save it, share it, or generate another one.

Common questions

How many credits do I get for free?

Every new account gets 3 free credits on signup. No credit card required. A 30-second clip costs 1 credit; a full song costs 3 credits.

Do credits expire?

Never. Credits you purchase stay in your account indefinitely. Pro Monthly credits renew each month but don't roll over.

Who owns the music I generate?

You retain ownership of your generated music for personal and non-commercial use. You're free to share your songs anywhere. See our Terms of Service for full details on commercial use.

What kind of photos work best?

Any photo works, but images with clear mood, setting, or cultural context tend to produce the most distinctive results. Landscapes, travel photos, architecture, and candid moments are all great starting points.

How long does generation take?

Most songs are ready in under 30 seconds. The app shows a progress overlay while it composes. You can close the app and come back — the song will be in your library when it's done.

Can I share my songs?

Yes — PixChord includes a built-in share button that exports your song as a video with your photo as the cover, perfect for social media. You can also save directly to your camera roll.
