Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only your email address and name from those services.

Photos You Upload: Photos you submit to generate music are processed by Google Gemini (for analysis) and Google Lyria (for music generation). We store the photo as the cover art for the resulting song in your library. We do not sell or share your photos with third parties for any other purpose.

Generated Music: Songs you generate are stored in your account library on our servers (Supabase/Postgres) and accessible only to you.

Purchase Information: In-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We receive only a transaction receipt confirming a purchase occurred — no credit card or payment details.

Usage Data: We collect basic usage data (when songs are generated, credit balances, app crashes) to operate and improve the service.

• To improve PixChord's AI models and user experience

Third-Party Services

PixChord uses the following third-party services to operate:

• Google Gemini Flash — analyzes your photos to extract musical parameters
• Google Lyria 3 Pro — generates the music based on the analysis
• Supabase — stores your account data and song library (hosted on AWS)
• Apple App Store / StoreKit — handles in-app purchases
• Vercel — hosts our backend API

These services process your data only as necessary to provide PixChord's functionality. We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

Data Retention

Your account data, including your song library and credits, is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including generated songs and photos — is permanently deleted within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

PixChord is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Account → Delete Account). For other requests, contact us at the email below.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of PixChord after changes means you accept the updated policy.
